Im almost done with “Summer in the City”..i love this book..im uneasy at the idea of the Carrie Diaries becoming a show on CW..I still picture Carrie as a younger Sara Jessica Parker and Im not sure if CW wil be able to put the character with an actress.  I would rather just keep reading more “Carrie Diaries’ books.  I am a huge fan of Candace Bushnell and have read all of her books except Im not finished with “One Fifth Avenue”…Ms. Bushnell has a “dry” yet very entertaining style of writing in all of her books.  Not very many of her characters are truly developed alot but are very amusing.  Even in the book “Sex in the City” Carrie has a very tiny part and her character is not truly develped for the reader.  Ms. Bushnell has written the “Carrie Diaries” books I suspect with help from the writers of the “Sex in the City Show”…these two books are not dry or written anything like her other books and delivers exactly what a true fan of Carrie Bradshaw wants.  If you are a fan of Sex in the City then Summer in the City is A MUST READ…we get to be introduced to Samantha who seems to be around age 28 and Miranda who is probably around 19 or so…fun reading.
